We try to keep delivery costs to an absolute minimum whilst offering the best possible delivery service.
Delivery costs will depend on the weight and size of the items you have ordered and your location.
When you checkout you will be shown the standard delivery options available and their associated costs.
Rural Delivery (RD) charges will be added to your total payment where applicable.
New Zealand Delivery
Where possible we offer three delivery options.
We welcome collection from our Retail shop and Warehouse at 34C Peters Way, Silverdale, Auckland.
Opening hours are 9am-5pm weekdays and 9-5pm Saturdays
When placing your order on-line, select our address for delivery and leave a note in the comments section.
Standard Delivery by Courier network
Average delivery times for 'in stock' items are 1-3 days. Rural Delivery (RD) will be longer, and will incur additional RD charges.
If the wrong freight option is selected in checkout, an additional charge may be added to your credit card.
Couriered items may require a signature on delivery, so it is preferable to use a business delivery address if possible as residential addresses are often more difficult to locate resulting in a possible delay.
Please note that if the couriers find nobody available to sign for the package, a notification card will be left at the delivery address and the package returned to the depot. It is your responsibility to contact the courier company to arrange re-delivery or collection. Failure to do this will result in the package being returned to us and you will be responsible for the return delivery costs.
In the comments section of your order you can instruct the courier to leave the package without signature.
Larger Items that are too large for the Courier network.
Larger items will go via a commercial freight service and will take longer. Delivery will be to the closest Depot of the freight company, from where goods will be collected. Delivery to your home or business will incur extra costs. Please check the goods throughly on collection and before signing for them. If damage is found later, the freight company will not cover the cost of the damage and it will be your loss.
Orders over NZD $500 will be shipped for free.
Aramex couriers are used for all our shipping and orders can be tracked on their international website.
Please note by placing an order with NZ Sailing, you will authorise us to charge your card for freight. We use NZ GST (15% goods and services tax) to cover the freight and then charge you for the excess. Freight costs have gone up considerably since the COVID pandemic. Some very small orders are not worth shipping, so your order may be refunded.
Larger or more expensive items will be sent by Oversize International Courier or another freight company. In these cases we will email you first with freigh costs and hold your order until we receive your confirmation to go ahead.
