Wentworth College Sailing 2007

Wentworth College Sailing will be providing a Sailing programme for the first term 2007 which will have activities on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday afternoons after school and Sunday afternoons as well as Regatta’s held during school time and weekends.

Mondays will be for beginners with a Learn to Sail course and will be from 4 till 6pm at Manly. The first day for this course is 5^th February at Manly Sailing Club.

Thursdays will be for experienced sailors and will be a Learn to Sail Level 2 course from 4.30 till 6.30 pm, with a learn to Race Programme running after that till 8pm for advanced fleet racing.  Sailing starts on Thursday 8^th February at 4.30pm at Manly.

Tuesdays & Sundays will be for experienced sailors and will be from Tuesday 5pm & Sundays 1pm, running for about 3 hours for advanced fleet racing with the Manly Sailing Club.  This started on Tuesday 16^th January and will run until 27 March.

The costs for term 1 will be $25 per sailor payable before sailing starts.  Sailors who are not already a member of a Yachting NZ affiliated club will need to join Manly Sailing Club for an Annual subscription of $70 per sailor to a maximum per family of $135 for a family membership.  Those beginner sailors who attend the Learn to Sail course on Mondays will have a additional costs for course fees and materials.  Details of these costs will be available shortly.

1.      I approve of my child participating & following the rules of the Wentworth College Sailing Club programme for 2007.

2.      I give my permission for him/her to attend all events in the programme.

3.      I am agreeable that he/she will follow instructions given by the Wentworth College Sailing Club Committee and their assistants who will discharge their duties in a responsible manner.

4.      I hereby waive all claims against the organisers Wentworth College Sailing Club & Wentworth College and their representatives for any damage or injury that may occur to the person named above or his property in connection with this event.

Return this form to the school.  Wentworth College Sailing
Club & Wentworth College will retain this form.
