A XMAS REGATTA 2008 NOTICE OF RACE DATE:
VENUE: Manly Sailing Club,
ELIGIBILITY AND
ENTRY: The regatta is open to all
centreboard and windsurfer classes across all ages of sailors. A class or
class division will be recognised for separate points and prizes upon
receipt of six or more entries. Entries shall be made by completing
the Entry Form accompanied by the entry fee of $20 per entry for junior
and youth sailors or $25 per entry for others (with discount for
subsequent entrants from same family). Entries will be accepted at the
clubhouse from
SCHEDULE: Briefing will be at Five races are scheduled for the series. Three races to be completed to constitute a series.
Warning signal for race 1 scheduled
for First three races are scheduled back
to back. Warning signal for race 4 scheduled
for Fourth and fifth races are scheduled
back to back. Separate starts will be given for larger class fleets; other classes may be combined into one or more mixed fleets.
RULES: The regatta will be governed by the ‘rules’
as defined in the Racing Rules of
Sailing 2005-2008, the
Auckland Centreboard Clubs Standard Sailing Instructions version
2005-02, and YNZ Safety
Regulations Part 1. Copies of
the Standard Sailing Instructions will be available at the clubhouse on
