Rooster Racing Gear
Just a update on how my
overseas trip is going. I am still based in Germany, Kiel where I competed
in the Kieler Woche regatta last week. I finished 42nd out of 83 sailors
with my best result as a 11th in the Gold fleet after the gold and silver
cut. I entered the regatta to focusing on working towards consistent
results, improving my downwind strategy and starting, however sadly I got
three OCS (Black Flags) which you all may know does not help the score board
when you only have one drop!

Photo of me in the Rooster
sailing gear, it is very good quality and very warm!
I am now training hard on the small
things my coach and I picked up on that can be improved before the Youth
Worlds. I am very confident that my progress is going well! I have managed
to join in with the Germany Squad which consists of there Olympic rep.
This is allowing me to work hard on my downwind along with starts after many
many start sequences!
We are heading to Denmark, Arhaus on the 9th of
July where we will be moving into the accommodation for the Youth Worlds and
collecting our boats the next day to prepare before the practices race on the
11th. Thanks for the support.
